This document sets out the financial terms on which paid plans of the Service are provided. It is incorporated into the Terms of Use. The Refund & Cancellation Policy controls all refund and cancellation matters. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Use.
1. Plans
The Service is offered on the following tiers:

Plan limits (assets, scans/month, monitored assets, scheduled scans, team members, API keys, monitoring frequency, deep discovery, webhooks) are published in the Service and may be adjusted with reasonable notice as set out in §6.
2. Fees and currency
- The fees for each paid plan are displayed on https://nanoeasm.com and inside the Service at the point of subscribing. The fees shown at the time you subscribe are the fees you agree to.
- Fees are quoted and charged in United States dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Your bank or card issuer may apply currency-conversion fees if you are billed in a currency different from your card's local currency. We do not control or refund those fees.
3. Billing cycles
You may choose monthly or annual billing for any paid tier (except Enterprise Gold, which is governed by your individual contract).
- Monthly — billed once per calendar month on the day you subscribed (or the closest valid date). Renews automatically at the end of each month unless cancelled.
- Annual — billed once for twelve months in advance. Renews automatically at the end of each twelve-month period unless cancelled. Annual subscriptions are typically priced lower per month than monthly equivalents.
4. Payment method
To start a paid subscription you must provide a valid payment method. We use Stripe as our payment processor. We do not collect, see, or store your card number — Stripe collects payment details directly through its hosted checkout, retains them, and processes charges on our behalf.
You authorise us (acting through Stripe) to charge your payment method:
- the initial subscription fee at the point of subscribing,
- the renewal fee at the start of each subsequent billing period,
- any prorated charges arising from plan changes (see §7),
- applicable taxes (see §5).
It is your responsibility to keep your payment method up to date. Update it via Manage billing in Settings → Billing.
5. Taxes
Prices displayed on https://nanoeasm.com and inside the Service are exclusive of any applicable tax unless explicitly stated.
Where required by law, the applicable tax will be added at checkout and on each renewal invoice. We use Stripe Tax (where enabled) to determine and collect the correct amount based on your billing address. Examples of taxes that may apply:
- Australia — Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 10% for Australian customers.
- United Kingdom and European Union — value-added tax (VAT) at the rate applicable in your country.
- United States — sales tax in jurisdictions where we have nexus.
If you have a valid tax identification number (e.g. an Australian ABN, an EU VAT number, or a UK VAT number), enter it during checkout — Stripe will apply reverse-charge or zero-rate where applicable, in accordance with the rules of your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate billing-address and tax-ID information,
- any withholding tax that you are required to withhold and remit in your jurisdiction.
6. Price changes
We may change the price of a paid plan from time to time. If we do:
- For your current subscription — the new price will not take effect until your next renewal. You will receive at least 30 days' notice before the renewal at the new price. If you do not wish to renew at the new price, cancel before the renewal date.
- For new subscribers — the new price applies immediately upon publication.
- For introductory or promotional pricing — once any introductory period ends, your subscription continues at the then-current standard price for your plan and cycle.
Promotional discounts (where offered) are subject to their own terms at the time of redemption and do not modify these Subscription & Payment Terms.
7. Plan changes mid-cycle
You can change plans at any time via Manage billing in Settings → Billing. When you switch:
- Stripe automatically credits the unused portion of your previous plan against your new plan,
- you are charged the prorated cost of the new plan for the remainder of the current billing period,
- the next renewal is at the new plan's full rate and on the new plan's cycle.
Plan changes are not refunds — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy §3.
8. Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
We will:
- charge the renewal fee on or shortly before the renewal date,
- email you a receipt for each successful payment from no-reply@nanoeasm.com,
- show your current period end date and any pending cancellation in Settings → Billing.
We will not typically send a reminder before each automatic renewal of a monthly subscription. For annual subscriptions, we will send a renewal reminder a reasonable time in advance.
9. Failed payment
If we cannot charge your payment method on a renewal:
- Your subscription enters a past-due state.
- We email your billing contact and display a banner inside the Service.
- Stripe automatically retries the payment over approximately three weeks.
- You retain access to paid features during the retry window so you have time to resolve the issue.
- If all retries fail, the subscription is automatically cancelled and your Organisation is downgraded to the Free plan.
Persistent non-payment may result in suspension or termination of the Account in addition to subscription cancellation.
10. Trials
Trials of paid plans are not automatic and do not start through the public checkout flow. They are request-only:
- A user clicks Request free trial on the relevant plan card.
- We review the request manually and decide whether to grant a trial and for how long.
- If granted, the requested plan is enabled on the Organisation for a defined period at no charge.
- No payment method is required during the trial period and no charge is taken until and unless the user converts to a paid plan.
If the trial period ends without conversion, the Organisation reverts to the Free plan automatically.
If the user converts to a paid plan during or at the end of the trial, the standard rules in this document apply from the conversion date forward. The trial period is not retroactively billed.
11. Enterprise Gold and custom contracts
Enterprise Gold is not available through self-serve checkout. Pricing, limits, and contract terms are negotiated individually, typically including:
- annual or multi-year commitment,
- agreed usage caps and overage handling,
- a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and any required addenda,
- service-level commitments (SLA exhibit),
- custom invoicing terms (e.g. NET-30 payment via Stripe Invoicing or bank transfer rather than card on file).
Where a written agreement exists between you and us in respect of Enterprise Gold (or any custom contract), the terms of that agreement control over this document for any conflicting provision.
12. Cancellation
Cancellation is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. In summary:
- You can cancel at any time from Manage billing in Settings → Billing.
- Your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid billing period — cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of unused time, except as provided in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- After the period ends, your Organisation is downgraded to the Free plan.
13. Refunds
The full refund position is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short:
- Subscription fees are non-refundable for elapsed and unused time in a period you have already paid for, except in the exceptions listed in that policy.
- Refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
14. Invoices and receipts
For every successful subscription payment we email a branded receipt from no-reply@nanoeasm.com to the billing contact on file. The receipt shows the line items (including any proration), subtotal, applicable tax, and total paid, and includes a link to the Stripe-hosted invoice PDF.
Stripe-hosted invoices satisfy invoice-format requirements in most jurisdictions, including EU/UK B2B requirements where the buyer's billing address and any provided VAT number are on the invoice.
You can access past invoices and download PDFs at any time via Manage billing in Settings → Billing.
15. Chargebacks
We strongly prefer that you contact us (support@nanoeasm.com) to resolve a billing concern before initiating a chargeback. The chargeback position is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy §8.
If a chargeback is initiated for a charge we believe was valid under these Terms, we may:
- suspend the affected Account pending resolution,
- provide our records to the card network in defending the dispute,
- treat the chargeback as a material breach of these Terms.
16. Termination of paid subscriptions
We may terminate a paid subscription:
- for material breach of the Terms of Use, the Acceptable Use Policy, or these Subscription & Payment Terms,
- where we are required to terminate by applicable law or by a competent authority,
- on the cancellation pathways described in §12.
The refund position on termination is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy §6.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these Subscription & Payment Terms from time to time. Material changes that affect your current paid subscription — including price changes — will be communicated via the Service or by email to the billing contact, with the notice period set out in §6 where applicable.
